He is out of surgery and doing well!! They said that they will keep him knock out for most of the day!!!! Thank you everybody that followed us thru part of this journey!!! We could not have gotten this far with out you all!!!! We love you all!!!! (From Roger via facebook)
Woke up in the middle of the night thinking about Logan...and his Mom. I just can't imagine what last night must have been like for them. But when I got on facebook this morning, there were four or five updates about the heart being on the way, then the helicopter landing, then the heart being there for sure, then the actual surgery...and the one about the heart beating on its own. That one took my breath away. Thank you Lord. And now this...he is out and doing well. Logan has a new heart and God is so much a part of this situation from start to finish that I almost cannot believe my eyes. He is so amazing and so good. Just last week I laid in bed wondering why...how...and now this. And I think Trust Trust Trust Him. Even in the shadows...you have to trust.
I am just so amazed by Him today.
Thank you Lord for showing yourself so vividly in this situation. You made your presence known and I know that you are the one who made that heart beat...as you make all of our hearts beat. Thank you for giving Logan the chance to live a full life and for giving strength to the family and friends that are close to them when they needed it the most. Amen
Have a Blessed Day!
Amy

How awesome is He!
PRAISE GOD! HE IS SO GOOD! Go Logan!!
So glad to hear that he is doing well! I prayed for them all last night and when I woke in the wee hours to feed Molly, I continued to pray. I also prayed for the donor family as they were weighing heavy on my heart. As much as one family is rejoicing, another family has had their hearts broken. Praising God for that family's selfless gift... giving life to another person in the midst of their own personal tragedy. Thanks for keeping us updated... prayers will continue for him!
