Too Good Not To Share

You'll need to pause the playlist to hear the sound on this video.

Sometimes you need a gentle reminder that God is there. Sometimes you need to see the love for Christ in the heart of a child. At Church yesterday, our pastor did a sermon about the true meaning of love. It was an amazing, eye opening sermon that helped me see the different kinds of love that are in this world today. He told us that there are four words that mean love in Greek, and went onto tell us the definitions of all four. The first and most important word was Agape, meaning~unconditional, unearned, selfless.
At the end of his message, he went on to show the picture of a little baby that was being baptised at the next service. He explained to us how that child was loved by God before he even knew what God was. That the love God had for that baby was unearned. But God would work in his life from the moment he took his first breath (or even before) to help that child say yes to him. When the child finally has enough knowledge to know that Christ should be in his heart, he will accept him and make his heart a home.
Until he does that, he'll be loved anyway. He'll be loved by God...unconditionally, unearned, and selflessly. I feel like we have an obligation to our boys to love them in that same capacity. To love them unconditionally.

1 John 4:19

We love because he first loved us.

1 John 4:16

God is Love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

We love because God loved us.

We are to forgive because God forgives us.

Thanks PR for a great message...do I have to pay royalties for this?

Have a blessed Monday!
Amy
