Oh not much. I just had something I needed to share with the whole world.
I have been sitting at the table in my basement for almost five hours. I've gotten up to do a few things, but for the most part...here I sit. I am surrounded by papers...books...and post it notes. This is where I do my best work. This is when I do my best work. I work better under pressure. That does not mean I don't feel the pressure. Sometimes...I feel so much pressure that my eyes tear up. I know...shocking. Lately I've been feeling the push to finish strong. However...in life, there are always obstacles. Obstacles aren't always bad. They can sometimes come in the form of a busy schedule or a long day. It happens. Sometimes we make it over the hurdle...and sometimes we don't. We fall...we might cry...and then we get back up and try again.
I prayed today for a sign that things were going as they should.
I don't usually see an immediate response from God. It usually takes me reflecting on a situation to see how very perfect it was.
Tonight...as I sit and work on some very important things...I hear my phone go off.
A welcome text to distract me from finishing.
